The AUIPS7111S high-side intelligent power switch features low 7.5-mΩ on-state resistance (RDS(on)) at 25C for harsh 24-V automotive environments such as under-the-hood truck junction boxes. The switch offers a comprehensive set of protection features including 30-A over-current and over-temperature shutdown in addition to an active clamp circuit to ensure safe reliable switching, and protection under repetitive short circuit conditions.

The power switch provides a current feedback of ±5% over the operating temperature range while turn-on and off-time are optimized to minimize noise in EMI sensitive automotive applications. The 65-V clamping voltage device also offers ESD protection and low current and logic level input. It is qualified according to AEC-Q10x standards and is available in D2PAK package.
